Welcome to my website.
My name is Martin Leifsson and I’m from a near-deserted island in the North-Atlantic ocean called Iceland.
I’m a 25 years old student of political science (aaalmost graduated!).
I’m interested in such things as spirituality, religion, the Buddha, the evolution of mankind, sunsets, Africa, music, football, Jesus Christ, the soul, fruit, passing through airports, sitting on trains, marvelling trees, circular buildings, clouds, photography and walking with my ipod.
What I truly love in life is travelling the world and discovering new things about it and new things about myself at the same time… and I’m going to spend my life doing it.
The word hirondelle is the French word for a swallow. If you knew me well, you might see the connection between the migrating bird swallow and myself. It’s never long after I come back home from travelling that I get “the urge” to fly away and explore the world… hence the word’s usage in the title and address of my site.
Have a good time reading my blogs, and don’t hesitate to comment to one of them. Also, there’s a link to my photo-site, take a peak there too!
See you around!
Martin.
