This is what I’ve been saying repeatedly today… “I’ve just arrived here to Strasbourg”, please be nice to me. And also because I’m a bit proud of it! Just happy to be here…
This city is totally beautiful and a nice to place to be… at least judging from my first one and a half day here. My (tiny) apartment is in the best place in town, overlooking the river. The old cathedral and characteristic medieval buildings, practically in my backyard. Love it!
Today I went to IKEA with their amazing free shuttle car and bought my self a casserole for my rice and pasta. They do need the Swedish meatballs that I thought every IKEA store had… maybe the French don’t like it that much… they’re obviously more into the hot dog and chicken in a baguette.
Today I also got myself a French sim-card for my phone, so now I’m hooked up and ready to recieve messaged from pretty French girls.
Schedule for tomorrow: Check out the area of my school. Go for the first time the route I will probably go a couple of hundred times before I’m through.
Hold on tight for pictures of this place! Coming soon…
PS. My room is big enough to have visitors! Reservations open…
