My newest SupaMix compilation is pretty chilled out. I didn’t try to make it chilled, it just happens to be like that… these are some of the songs I’ve been listening to a lot these last days and weeks (and months).
Robyn is a Swedish singer who’s apparently been around for ages. She has a certain groove to her music, I think. Check her out. (Thanks to Elin for the enlightenment!)
Little Wonders is Rob Thomas‘ (formerly Matchbox 20 singer and frontman) newest song. It’s from the movie Meet The Robinsons. A beautiful tune.
Angels & Airwaves is of course the best band around today! Totally awesome stuff. Finally a fresh direction in rock music… inspiring! The Machine is a bonus track on their first album We Don’t Need To Whisper. I am anxiously waiting for their second album, I-Empire, which is due out in October.
Indian Sunset is one of THE best Elton John songs I’ve heard. It’s somehow split into chapters, and he’s telling a story in the song, one that touches me at least. It’s about the killing of Native Americans by “the white man”.
Unplayed Piano is in my opinion without a doubt the best song Damien Rice has made. Too bad it didn’t go on his new album. Why that is I have no idea. But the song is about some Burmese (non-violent) freedom fighter.
I don’t know what else to say about the other songs… They’re all just brilliant!

já það væri gaman. er reyndar mikið að gera að vinna og í háskólanum, en ég get reynt að finna tíma:) gætiru kannski sent mér númerið þitt í smsi? ég týndi öllum númerunum mínum. mitt er 8488182 . heyrumst:)

ok, flott að hafa númerið.já ég er með sama númerið nei sorrí, er að vinna á föstud og bý þessa stundina heima hjá vinum mínum, er líklega að fara að flytja um næstu mánaðarmót. væri mjög gaman að hittast eitthvað áður en þú ferð út. vona að þið finnið húsnæði fyrir partíið
